Airbag light acting up, 2017 SL

The airbag light just popped on out of nowhere and there has been no recent accidents, no new mods, and the passenger seat sensor seems to be working fine, at least visually, so the light stays stagnant for a bit, then starts blinking. I scanned for codes and pulled a B1018 (OCS system fault), which I've read can be anything from a loose connector under the seat to a calibration issue, then I tried unplugging and re plugging the connectors under both front seats, but no change.
So now I dont know if its something as simple as a bad sensor or if I'm looking at needing an OCS re zero from the dealer. I have 92k miles on it

Love to avoid a trip to Nissan if it's something I can handle myself, any advice appreciated.

So, if you're seeing that B1018 code pop up on your 2017 Armada, it's signaling a hiccup in the Occupant Classification System (OCS). Since you've already taken a look at those seat connectors, you're on the right track. The next thing you might want to try is a zero-point reset. For that, you'll need a scan tool like Nissan's CONSULT III.

If that doesn't do the trick and the code sticks around, there's a chance that the sensor or even the OCS unit itself could be faulty. And sometimes, it might mean you'll need to swap out the whole seat cushion.

Also, with your Armada clocking in at 92k miles, it's a smart idea to check if there are any service bulletins or recalls linked to these issues. Better safe than sorry, right?
