Best battery option for my 2018 QX80?

I rarely drive my 2018 QX80, usually just once a week, so yesterday it failed to start, but after charging the battery, it fired up fine. I found out it uses a Group 27 battery, I am just wondering if the battery's still reliable or if it's time for a new one., so I would need a budget-friendly battery suggestions?

The battery could bbe the problem and it's probably because you're not driving it regularly. It's a modern car with all these gizmos that use power from the battery even when it's off, which can become a problem especially if the battery is older. If you have a multimeter you can test he battery very quickly. You should get 12.6V or more when your infinity is off and around 14V when it's running. For recommendations, EverStart and Duralast have solid batteries that won't cost too much

Nah your battery might well be on its way out. ACDelco is pretty good and isn't crazy expensive. Still, with your usage pattern, make sure it stays charged or consider a small trickle charger to avoid getting stranded.

If it starts right up after you replaced the battery, then it's the battery. In the past I've had great experience with Duracell and Duralast and I'm guessing both should be around $200. Since you don't drive too often you should either have a habit or firing it up every couple of days, or like @Ocean.eyes said, get a trickle charger.

@Clyde1 with how little it’s driven, the battery is probably on borrowed time even if it charges back up. A budget Group 27 from Duralast, EverStart, or ACDelco should be fine, and a small trickle charger would really help with your usage pattern.
