Filter Bosch 2041 for 2023 Nissan Armada

Need advice guys! I'm abroad and the filter I needed wasn't available at the local store here. I found Bosch 2041 at a Europe auto part retailers, it fits VK56VD engine up until Nissan NV van model 2018 or 2019.

Yup, they don't sell Armadas, Patrols anymore, or any cars with this engine since 2018 to 2019. Mine is a Nissan Armada 2023, but their fit chart didn't go past 2018 or 2019.

I think the specs are really good (filtration 99% at 20 microns, according to the spreadsheet I found here.)

It says "premium" on the box, but I think it's a mid range one, since Bosch has other better filters. It's a semi syn filter material, but it's the only filter I could get that fits the motor, and the store needed to order it and came that afternoon.

Not gonna lie. I got a little bit on edge when it was mentioned in their database that the filter "fits up to 2018 or 2019."

I know that it's still a VK56VD engine, but I haven't found any reference that says this particular type of filter is for a 2023 Nissan Armada.

The irony in this is that I actually have a Fram Ultra filter somewhere in the moving box in the house. I know that it's better fit than Bosch 2041, but it's hard to find it.

I bought a Fram Ultra filter at Amazon before, you should search it, they'll send you right away.

Nissan hasn't really changed filter specs on that engine since before 2018. It's not top tier like the Fram Ultra, but decent enough if it seals properly. Just don't stretch the interval too long and swap back to Fram when you're back home.

Yeah, you're totally right for being cautious but actually V5K6VD engine hasn't changed much over the years when it comes to filter specs. So anything from the 2018 to 2019 can still fit your 2023 Armada. Just be really mindful of the oil change! Don't stretch it out too far when using the Bosch.

I have to agree with @mickeymouse.
If you've bought it, you can carefully compare the Bosch 2041 to your old filter once you remove it.
Pay close attention to the diameter of the filter, the height, the thread size and pitch, and the diameter of the sealing gasket.
If all of those dimensions look identical, it's a very good sign that it will work.
Just look out for any leaks after you install the new filter and yeah, change your oil a little sooner than you normally would!
