General Questions about 2022 Armada

I drove a 2022 Armada rental in Oklahoma for four days. It's big and super comfy. Different from my Rogue and Quest. I dont think I'd buy it. It has a 5.xL V8 like the Titan. Does the CVTz50 app work on it? My adapter connected and scanned but I saw no results. Sometimes the engine acted funny like it was towing. Shifts changed fans got loud and it used more gas. Lasted 60 miles then stopped. Is that normal??

I tried the app befoere and unfortunately it did not work w it. on the other hand, about the fans, seems like it got something to do w the fan clutch.. check w their dealer. im no expert.

alright, first off, CVTz50 probably won't work since the Armada's got a regular 7 speed auto, not a CVT, and secondly, that weird engine behavior sounds like it might've gone into tow mode or some kind of adaptive learning thing, or who knows, could've even been reacting to load or terrain. If you say it stopped after 60 miles, its maybe just a quirk of the rental.

Haha yeah, its a pretty comfy beast and totally different from a Rogue or Quest, the engine thing could be tow mode or cooling kicking in. CVTz50 won't work though, since armada uses a 7 speed, not a CVT, rentals are always weird

Pretty sure that ain't normal, oops. @Ocean.eyes is right when they said it might be the quirk of a rental. Bear with it a little more.
