Airbag light on dashboard

no definite reason for my 2010 platinum to flash the airbag light on my dashboard. already borrowed a friend's OBD2 scanner and shows a B1049 error code. I tried resetting and all but still it shows up minutes later. everything else works fine, I don't feel anything faulty at all making me more confused as ever. anyone here familiar with this issue? help me please.

Sorry I'm not really knowledgeable about this stuff but I just wanna say I'm watching this thread because my 2010 SE's airbag light is also blinking. I don't know if it's related to my HVAC issue so I will update you if I get an answer.
